Description:
Laila Pudding Rice is an ideal component of any rice pudding recipe and various rice based desserts. The grain is white, plump but shorter and rounder than other types of rice; perfect for those sweeter dishes that need a soft, creamy and slightly sticky result.
Ingredients:
100% Pudding Rice
Cooking Instructions:
- Take 75g rice (per person),10g butter and 750ml of milk, mix together in a medium sized non stick saucepan over a medium heat and bring to the boil, stirring continuously.
- Reduce the heat to low and gently simmer for 30 minutes, stirring continuously, until the rice is soft.
- Optional to stir in 25g of caster sugar and serve immediately.
Cooking appliances vary and these instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the rice is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat.
Storage Instruction: Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, keep tightly closed and consume within the Best Before End date.
