How to make Naan (Leavened Flatbread)
Laila Naan Atta self-raising flour is a blend of white wheat flour used in the basic dough needed for making various kinds of Naan.
For the Perfect Naan:
1 You will need: 200g naan atta, 175 g Fat- free Greek Yogurt, A pinch of salt, 1 tbsp Olive oil, Skillet or Tava for Cooking Naan, Rolling Pin.
2 Mix the naan attta, salt, oil and greek yogurt until the ingredients are well-combined. The dough should come away from the sides of the bowl cleanly.
3 Turn the dough onto a floured work surface and knead it for a couple of minutes. Form the dough into a disc before dividing it into 6 equal pieces. Using your hands (or a rolling pin) press out the dough to form an oval approx 5 inches to 3.5 inches.
4 Cook the naan one by one in a frying pan over medium hot heat. Cook for around 1 1/2 minutes each side. Serve warm with a knob of butter and a curry on
the side. Enjoy!
Storage Instructions: Always store Laila Atta in a cool dry place and keep the sack tightly closed. Ensure storage container is clean and dry. Do not mix old and new Flour. Best Before End: See side of pack
